Welcome to the FiskMO community. These guidelines help keep this website respectful, useful, and fair for everyone who participates.
By using this website, submitting content, or participating in discussions, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
Treat other members with respect. Harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, and personal attacks are not allowed.
2. Keep Posts Useful and Fair
Share local updates, community events, questions, recommendations, photos, marketplace listings, local history, or other information useful to people in and around Fisk, Missouri. Fishing, gardening, hobbies, and other shared interests are welcome.
Do not use this website to shame, harass, threaten, or target another person.
3. Protect Personal Privacy
Do not post private personal information about another person, including home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, private social media accounts, workplace information, license plate numbers, or similar identifying details.
4. Be Accurate
Do not present rumors, speculation, or unverified claims as facts. When posting about local conditions, places, events, or incidents, share what you personally observed or can reasonably verify.
5. No Harassment Campaigns
Do not organize or encourage harassment, threats, stalking, retaliation, or intimidation against any person, family, business, organization, or public official. Respectful discussion, good-faith criticism, and lawful civic participation are welcome.
6. Photos and Shared Content
Only share photos or other content that you have the right to share. Do not share content that violates copyright, invades privacy, or misrepresents what happened.
7. Legal and Safety-Related Content
Do not encourage illegal activity, trespassing, unsafe conduct, threats, fraud, malicious links, sexually explicit content, or unlawful material.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
Site administrators may review, edit, reject, remove, restrict, or archive content that violates these guidelines or creates risk for the community.
Repeated violations may result in account suspension, posting restrictions, or removal from the site.
9. Reporting Violations
If you believe content violates these guidelines, sign in and use the Report this item option on the relevant community post, event, or listing. Explain what is wrong so the site administrators can review it. To report a comment, identify it in a report on the post, event, or listing where it appears.
10. Community First
FiskMO exists to support useful local discussion, neighbor-to-neighbor connections, responsible sharing, and respectful participation in and around Fisk, Missouri. Shared interests such as fishing are part of the conversation, alongside the other topics that matter to our community.
